| LEAD | A player who is registered but has never deposited. |
| ACTIVE | A player who can access and has deposited. |
| CLOSED | An account that can't be reopened after closure. This is a terminal status. |
| LOCKED | An account that can be reopened at any time, manually from the backoffice only. |
| EXCLUDED | An account closed temporarily, with automatic reopening at the end of the temporary closure. |
<aside> ⚠️
CLOSED is terminal. There is no transition out of CLOSED — no reopen to LEAD or ACTIVE, and no push to LOCKED. Equally, there is no transition from LOCKED to CLOSED.

Reopening from EXCLUDED is not immediate. When a self-exclusion is revoked, the player does not return to their previous status straight away: the change applies after a delay of 24 hours for a break (cool-off) exclusion and 168 hours (7 days) for a lifetime exclusion. The player is then restored to the status held before the exclusion, not unconditionally to LEAD or ACTIVE.
